First attempt

Well, here are pictures of my first attempt at the mini-blind cover. I think that I'm going to do a set of 2 for our guest bedroom to perfect the pattern, get a little more practice under my belt, and see how it looks with a little accessorizing BUT I'm pleased with this as a first try!

What if...?

Over the past couple of days, I have been developing an idea to eliminate my u-g-l-y mini-blinds. I don't want to invest in nice curtains for our home because we're renters and my wonderful hubby hasn't decided yet whether we are going to buy this house. BUT I HATE those ugly mini-blinds that do nothing except keep "peeping Toms" at bay. So I'm fleshing out my idea that will use those miniblinds (and keep them intact) but make them look like Roman shades. Do you think that there would be a market for such an item if I decided to include them in my etsy story/Farmer's Market stand?
I just tried out my experiment and was quite pleased!

Would you be interested in this product if it were available to you?
YES! I hate my miniblinds too!
Sure, its worth a look.
Nay, I have already got cute curtains.
