Needing your opinion

Okay, here's the deal! It's time for me to start thinking about Christmas stuff for my store, specifically stockings. I could really use your opinions on which way you think it's best for me to go about listing stockings for sale in my Etsy store.

Here are the options that I've thought of so far:
(1) Make stockings with material that I like (in different styles of course) and list them individually in such a way as to let the buyer know that they can purchase as many as they need.

(2) Make one stocking to show the style and shape that I make. Then have pictures of materials that the buyer can choose from as the additional pictures.

(3) Any other ideas?

The second question is about the embroidery. I've never know people who didn't put names on stockings so I was wondering if you think I should:
(a) List the price as including the name, which will of course make it more OR

(b) List a price for the stocking without a name with an additional fee for the name.

PLEASE comment letting me know which you would prefer if you were buying one. You can reply with a number and letter (i.e. 2a)

Thanks for your input everybody! I'll weigh the comments and try to make a decision as soon as I can! I'm going to have to take a trip to Raleigh to look for fabric and when my boys are older I might open a decent fabric store in Rocky Mount or Greenville~we just can't seem to keep a good one for long!

  3. I vote for 2b. More choices for the customers and less work for you. Good Luck.

  4. I think that I would rather see one stocking and then choose from material and most of the items I have ordered have a price with and without the monogram...in other words.... 2b
